Our expertise in weld overlay cladding services provides heavy-duty protection against corrosion and wear for process and pipeline equipment. Dedicated workstations enable Arc Energy to conform to the most stringent specifications imposed by the industry. We also have workstations that are specifically designed for pipe cladding that are equipped with the latest advanced control and inspection facilities.
We have the capacity to clad components up to 15 tonnes in weight, and can clad bores up to four metres diameter and areas of restricted access within bores as small as 20mm diameter. Typical applications include pressure vessels, pipelines and pipeline equipment, subsea piping and wellhead equipment.
Our team of welders and fabricators are qualified to internationally recognised standards and specifications. A wide range of base metal/weld cladding combinations has been qualified to ASME IX, API 6A and NACE. In addition, we can offer in-house test weld, heat treatment, PMI, FARO Arm Inspection and NDT services.
All work is carried out within a management system that has been approved to both ISO 9001:2008 and the stringent specialist welding demands of ISO 3834-2. As well as this, we hold ASME U, ASME U2 and National Board R stamps, environmental standard ISO 14001:2004 and occupational health and safety 18001:2007 accreditations.
The company has expanded rapidly over recent years and now employs around 70 staff in work space in excess of 42,000 square feet.
